News: The Medieval Hagiography Issue 2

This past September, the moment finally arrived: The Medieval Hagiography, our analog edition of Merg & Been Magazine, was completed at last. Sixty pages filled with carefully curated interviews from our website — a tangible, offline translation of the work we’ve been pouring ourselves into over the past years. The idea was to create a physical publication that not only compiles our digital content but also offers its own distinct, almost ritualistic experience. And that’s exactly what it became.

The print run was deliberately limited to 50 copies, giving the release a sense of exclusivity and collector’s value. To our surprise, and quiet pride, vall copies sold out within three weeks. This was thanks in large part to our distributors WolfKult Religion, New Era Productions, and Void Wanderer Productions, who each went through their stock remarkably fast. Their support and enthusiasm played a crucial role in the success of this first physical release.

The Medieval Hagiography stands not only as a milestone for our magazine, but also as a confirmation that there is still a strong demand within the scene for physical media , something you can hold, leaf through, and preserve. This release has certainly awakened an appetite for more, and we are already looking forward to bringing future analog projects to life.

Today we are pleased to announce that issue number two has officially gone to print and will be available within the coming weeks, once again through our trusted distributors. This new edition continues our commitment to presenting in-depth, uncompromising conversations from across the underground landscape.

In this issue, you will find interviews with:
Bad Omen (NL), Rauhnacht (AT), Suttungr (NL), Primordial Black (TN), Hellevaerder (NL), De Pankraker (BE), Matavitatau (BE), Asgrauw (NL), WolfKult Religion (NL), Sammath (NL), Sinflower Apparel (BE), Sardonic Witchery (US), and Balmog (ES).

With a diverse roster of artists, labels, and creators from across Europe, North America, and beyond, this second issue aims to further expand the scope of what Merg & Been Magazine represents in print: an unfiltered, analog portal into the global black metal underground.
